Give it up!

I ran across an interesting article the other day. It turns out that
individuals with BMIs in the 25-30 range have a longer life

expectancy than those with BMIs less than 25. (I know that most of you
EXCEPT Rob know about BMIs. Rob, it stands for Body Mass Index.

Oh, thanks....you're right! I thought it meant Bowell Movement
Implosion.

In the same article it supported the notion that the main cause of
obesity is dieting. It also supported the growing thinking that being
overweight, if still in shape, may be superior for many individuals.

So you're saying that the many, many, fatasses who play video poker are
mostly HEALTHY? Take another look at a vpFREE luncheon picture.

Oh, thanks....you're right! I thought it meant Bowell Movement
Implosion.

No, that would involve your mouth.

I was thinking that with you, it's gotta come out somewhere.

Yeah, it seems thinking is evolving on this. It was
always a little cockeyed anyway. Someone who regularly
lifts weights can land in the BMI range you note as
overweight but look, feel and in fact be quite fit.
The new thinking seems to be the best weight predictor
(for the non-obese) of potential health issues is belly
to abdomen ratio. This give a pretty good indication
of how much tummy fat you're hauling around. That's real
bad stuff.

It was in a waiting room at Desert Radiologists where my wife was
getting an ultrasound. It was US News & World Report,

Now there's an oxymoron ... Rob using "I" and "thinking" in the same
sentence.

The question was to inform about where the article could be found - not
how or why or what was going on at the time. But I found your included
info interesting. My daughter also just had an ultrasound. So tell us,
how in the world are you two gonna be able to handle having a little
one around when all you do is go to smelly casinos every day? I mean,
you gonna take a chance leaving the poor bugger in the car while you
two hit the machines? Or is the plan to hire some other local vpFREE
addicts to take turns sitting! HA!

I guess little Robbie doesn't know that ultrasounds are used for many
diagnostic procedures. Checking on babies is only one use. My wife was
having her thyroid checked out.

By the way, when is your daughter getting married? Is she out of middle
school yet?

Dang....I should have KNOWN better! Gambling's just FAR too important
and the RGM's are FAR too selfish to ever think about having children.

By the way, when is your daughter getting married? Is she out of

middle school yet?

Nope, but she married a one-armed black X-con---the son of a lesbian
who was conceived out of wedlock between a nun and a priest. David
Letterman was best man. Note: Father's been promoted to Bishop now and
was moved to NYC to write columns for the NY Times.

Been there, done that. The Grandkids are more than enough for us now.

I was almost right ... although I thought it was the Washington Post.
I believe W mentioned it in one of his speeches about the importance
of privacy.

You're just one incredible BRUTE! I wonder if there's any competition
between going to see the grandkids.....or perhaps sticking around and
going to a CASINO for the daily fix?! Hmmm.... I just can't figure out
the winner here!

Don't need to with you. I got a copy of your footprint quite some time
ago, and it's the reason I keep pounding away at such a cornball as
you. It's sooo much fun slapping down a nerd only to have him get back
up again....and slap down AGAIN! YAHOO!!

ago,

You got the wrong one again. The one you're looking at belongs to your
mother ... the sasquatch.

More corn? What's 'the sasquatch'? More of that 'Americana' whatever
that you say I missed??

I see several interesting telltale signs from this story. First, why
wouldn't littls dicky's wife not go to the Doctor's office herself?
It's not a procedure that administers sleep-inducing drugs. Answer:
Either they both figured a trip to the Dr's. office together would save
time getting to the casino afterwards to get their daily fix of
gambling, or his wife's an alcoholic. Either scenario would be sad to
the untrained eye---but is comical to me! Lives controlled by vices get
what they ask for.

Hard to imagine that anyone who's been in this country for more than a
couple of years would not know this term. In fact, although this is the
Canadian Indian name for bigfoot, I believe it is known worldwide.

You have heard of bigfoot haven't you? How about Yeti?

It appears your telltale sign told you very little. Read on ... ONCE
AGAIN, you are wrong? Don't you get tired of being wrong?

She shares your opinion of LV drivers and chooses not to drive whenever
possible.

She doesn't drink. Are you always wrong?
