American announced it was cutting 18 flights out of STL and LAS was one of the destinations that was yanked completely (connecting service thru ORD, LAX and DFW still available from STL).
All I can say is it sure is a good thing the taxpayers paid the bill on that $1 BILLION dollar runway several years ago. Given the 50% cut in flights since the runway was announced it's obvious that extra capacity is certainly being put to good use.
