Will there never be an end to the Kennedy humiliation? We all see it's
bad enough that Ted Kennedy is a ranting liberal who is the epitome of
not practicing what he preaches. Years ago he killed, instead of
saving, Mary Jo Kopechne as she struggled from drowning--for the sole
purpose of keeping her mouth shut as he was drunk driving off a bridge
in Chappaquidick after banging her. Now his son Patrick slams into
something outside of the Capitol at 3am the other night, and although
looking groggy all he'd slur to the cops is "I haven't been drinking!"

So after a day of denial and face-saving, the fool checks into the Mayo
Clinic in where else?---Rochester, Minnesota! Now is it my imagination,
or do all pathological denyers, substance abuse degenerates, and
problem gambling bozos reside in or move to that town??

Politics lesson #3 for the blinded: The electoral votes represent the
highest level of confidence from the most meaningful sector of voters
from any state. That's why it's possible--although not very likely--
to lose the popular vote while winning the electoral. It's the same
situation we have on the streets. You get a TV eyefull whenever
there's a protest against the war or Bush or whatever. But the reason
the protests are always so meaningless is because they're comprised
of hippies, queers, long-hairs, the unemployed, the frazzled, a few
fading Hollywood stars, and a plethora of those who have a bad life
going on because they were too lazy to work hard enough to get
anywhere. The same with your sacred polls. Who wants to be bothered
by a phone call that doesn't help you when you're doing something
more important? So the natural response would be to say something
negative. People LOVE to find something wrong with the status quo.
Kerry was a shining example of how trying to make something real out
of that backfired.
