At least they didn't go all out like Harrah's did in Kansas City when
people burned out the $5 All Americans and remove All American at all
levels. Besides, I will sit and watch people come up and play poorly
on quarter AA all the time. Why remove the quarter AA.

Is there anyone that can please tell me what pay tables the
All_American $1 at Prairie Band were downgraded to?
Thanks

I don't know, but it's probably to one of the following:
1-1-3-6-6-6-40-200-800 ... 92.01%
1-1-3-8-8-8-30-200-800 ... 98.49%
1-1-3-8-8-8-35-200-800 ... 99.60%
They are not downgraded, they are GONE! There is still 9/6/5/400
Double Bonus and 9/5 Double Double Bonus. These $ machines now have
no wait at all. The dollar players seem to enjoy the 5-play and
3-play machines. That is where all the top-40 machine signs have gone.
All hope is not completely lost, these machines are Game Makers and
the game appears to just have been turned off. The chip is still
taking up room in the machine. I can tell this because the machines
only have 9 games instead of the maximum 10 games. They would have to
replace the chip to change the pay-scale on Game Makers(at least that
is what I have to do to mine).
My theory on the removal of the game is that Elite players now get
$1000 for every 100,000 points they earn in a year, which comes out to
another 0.1%. The first 100,000 points you get a choice of $1000 or
$150/month. I have a math degree, and I choose $150/month.

Thanks for the information. I have only recently started playing VP
as I got tired of Prairie Band taking so much of my money on slots.
Anyway, as luck would have it, I had just started playing the AA
machines and was getting fairly good at strategy. So, now that the AA
machines are gone in the $1 format, can you offer me advice as to
what my best alternative would be at Prairie Band in $1 VP? Thanks
for any advice anyone can impart. I am not at the Elite level, so
they don't have to worry about paying out any extra $ to me, but I
would like to stand a decent chance of winning something there every
now and again.
