I was told that as of 1/1/08 IL was requiring the casinos to withhold
state tax (like MO does).
The other day, I ran into someone that has been playing in IL quite a
bit and they said they do not withhold any state tax from her jackpots.
IL does not allow you to deduct losses from wins so it is a bad state
to hit w2s in.
