I guess they are close to some goal and want to get more people in the
door by month end.
I havent played there in quite some time, has there been any new info
on the comp situation?

I have played at Ameristar a lot lately, and I (bcc) got the e-mail
last Monday. 'tcc' didn't get anything, so we signed him up for e-
mail to make sure he gets it next time.
We have taken several comps since the new program started. We always
get what we want, even more than expected. One night we thought we
had about $15 on tcc's account, but were offered $30 for 2 buffets.
They don't want to quote a dollar amount any more. Different hosts
would quote different amounts, making people mad. Now they
say, "Where do you want to eat?" They also implied that if we wanted
more, they could give it to us at their discretion, or get approval
if needed.
By the way, you can view your points, but not your comps and offers,
on Ameristar's web site. It is useful for calculating cash back.
We plan to go tonight to see if the recent price increase has
shortened the crab leg line (fat chance, I am sure). We will end up
in Amerisports, as usual, where the Friday night clam chowder is the
BEST, worth every penny of the $2.99 (!) price.
