A couple of weeks ago I asked the group if anyone knew if there was any VP
in Germany. Got no answers so I figured no one knew (or no one cared!).
Just got back from my trip and I can report that there is video poker in
Germany. I happen to be in a casino not far from Frankfurt where I found
about 20 IGT multi-games with jacks or better, bonus, deuces and a few
others. There were also some 5 and 10-play machines.
Denominations were 50 cent only (euros) and pay scales were bad. Jack or
better were only offered at 6/5 and 5-coin in only paid 1500 for royal.
Yuck! Regardless it was interesting to see the games in central Germany
but, as with many things, the US is home-sweet-home for VP players.
