YAH multipliers lower - ST out-of-town visitior

I agree. The report was full of facts, details and information and I
thought that it was one of the better items that I have seen posted lately. It
would be a shame for the community to lose such a valuable contributor over
actions of one jealous selfish individual.

I had a similar incident on my private E-mail in the past from a poster on
this site. At the time, I was in a foreign country. My reply to the person
was simple. I responded in the native language of where I was situated with
what would be the equivalent of Thank You in English. Nothing more.
Nothing less. Then I blocked that E-mail address. I do not time in my life to be
bothered with such people.

I hope you’ll ignore the flaming e-mail you received and will continue to

both interesting and helpful.

Thank you Bob, and others. I think it may have been either a disgruntled habitual 'loser' or player who had lost much of their 'advantage' play, given changes in the general Boyd/ST scene. And I don't mean to disparage (locals), who definitely have probably been most affected by recent downgrades/changes in marketing. For me, however, the B-Connected group of properties seem to offer the best opportunities, for the level of play I generate.

I am just reporting my experiences as a semi-frequent out of town visitor (who happens to live in a target SoCal market), (and each player's offers/experiences may be different). Kudos to those trying to keep up with the changes, such as the vpadministrator, who logs all of these changes based on actual reports.

As to more news : It would benefit most players to check the Sams Town Website for monthly news/promotions. Another change that another SoCal player and I have noticed: dining changes.

With Billy Bob's now closed (they opened up this new "Angry Butcher" steakhouse where Willy & Jose used to be... and Billy Bob's is to become "Messy BBQ" outlet.... the 'trend' seems to be franchising some of their dining options (so will cost $1/1000 pts comp vs previous $1/600 pts).

A current list of how far your comp pts will go is available (as always) at the main B-connected slot club. They used to have a small cardstock portable list, it probably has to be updated and revised.

Buffet/Deli/Bowling snackbar should still only 'cost' 600 pts/$1 vs TGIF, Movie Theatre, Dunkin Donut and other 'franchise' outlets. The buffet is still a good bargain (palatable as it is) as you get your 'card' discount and can still use pts to pay for it. Same is true at GC/Orleans, whenever I've eaten at those buffets.

Remember, it's still a 'business', and it's not the casino's perogative to 'offer' vp players/slot players any rebate at all for playing; thank goodness for the relatively strong Competition in LV, though, that will probably still encourage marketing/offers/slot club bonuses, etc though for vp players.

Good luck all.

M.
