I remember the only time I stayed at Sunset, I was given 2 free nights and
food & bev at several restaurants up front by a host. When I checked out, there
was a 99¢ fee for the phone which I never used. I questioned the desk clerk
about it and he said it was a fee for the privelege of just having the phone in
the room in case I needed to use it. I asked if he was really going to charge
me this since the rest of my stay was totally comped and he said yes.
So, these 2 coupons I just got for a few bucks on a night's lodging are of no
use to me whatsoever since I wouldn't pay for a room if I ever did stay there
again.
Seems like it would cost them more to print and mail these coupons than just
removing the 99¢ fee in the first place.
I've never paid for any "extra" little fees or charges at Caesars. The desk
clerk just removes them or else calls a host to get a go ahead.
