First of all this 49 cent check is not about casinos but about the prcatice of loverlimit fees on credit cards that have got to the point of absurdity and gouging. I have even seen banks where if you are over by 1 cent you get hit with the fee, and if another charge triggers the fee you get a fee caused by a fee. Example you are under your limit, but your payment isn't processed by the hour they say is on time and you get hit with a late fee that puts you over the limit that now triggers an overlimit fee. Granted many of us police our accounts to stay away from this, but do economic times some may be close and get conbstantly ripped off in this matter. This is what th esuit was about. I would deposit the check when I have other checks to deposit (which I did). The companies that keep doing this need to be more consumer friendly and less greedy. Keep in mind that even in the station casino case, you got a notice an dcoupon whether you asked for it or not. I don;t think your player rating would drop by using the coupon. When you book the reservation as long as you book it with them and get a decent rate, this is not necessarily the discount that the coupon excludes. I get a post card from time to time from them with rates and will try and see what happens and get back to veryone on this. Since I am in town weekly I need to book casinos with the machines that I like first and other amenities that I like. By the way, becaise if this suit, have they stopped or so they still continue this disgusting practice of charging you for energy that you couldn't possible comsume during your stay?

I didn't read the class action suit had anything to do with casinos --
did I miss something?Anyway, Carlos, I'm sure a casino host will fall down and hug your
knees over such a large gambling prospect. Wonder how much the
lawyers made off this suit?Rick
