XXVP: Free flight on SWA for their Visa card

Yes, this is XXVP but it's a deal like I've rarely seen for new sign-
ups on a credit card. Signup, make your first purchase and get 16
flight credits....which is enough for a free RT flight on SWA.

I failed to mention that there is a $59 annual fee but all that is
required is one purchase (no minimum) in order to get the 16 credits.
Once the credits post, the flight can be booked to anywhere SWA flies
(and their available seat policy is infinitely better than the 'major'
airlines). Even if you don't fly SWA, this free ticket is fully
transferable and can be booked in the name of a friend or family
member.

And, no, I'm not earning any sort of commission/referral credit with
that link above.

Just curious. Where did you find this? They are still touting the 8
credit sign-up on the SWA website.

Thanks for the post. I poked around but cannot find how to apply over the phone instead of online, which I prefer to do. If you happen to have that, that would be great if you could post. Also, if there is a phone#, do we need to provide any certain promo code?

One other question - doesn't Chase bank handle Southwest's VISA card these days? I seem to remember that Chase took over for First USA some years back but I could be mixing up banks!
