Forgot to ask another question. I've never had any problems with my
marketing offers in the past but each offer does state that any ADDITIONAL comps over
and above what is stated in my letter would be based on my play while there.
Obviously.

But, when I checked in on my last trip, I was asked to sign a paper that said
my comps being offered to me were based on my play while there and that I
would be responsible for the rest. Also, I had to sign a $200 charge to my CC
for this before getting my room key.

I feel this is a "bait & switch" tactic. They got me there on their letter
and then changed the rules before I checked in. Tacky. Illegal? I know it says
in my offer that things could change, but my past play must count for
something that they're offering.

Still haven't gotten my CC statement to see if anything was added, but I was
told when I checked out that my balance was zero.

Some casino's take the "free" room from your comp account, and you have to play a lot to earn more free stuff.
Other's put $100 or $200 on your credit-card for "incidental's," stuff like movies, phone call's, messages in the spa, and other stuff you might charge to the room and wouldn't usually be comped unless your a real high roller. Once you check out and haven't charged anything, there supposed to credit your card. From what I hear, some take there dear sweet time doing it.
