We've only lived here a little over year and I have relatives coming
in for a visit. I was wondering if I could get some advice. Is there
any good places for perogi'? Any info on the Hofbrauhaus would also
be helpful. Thank you for your help.

There used to be a Polish restaurant called Polonez that had excellent perogi. Unfortunately, they went out of business, and I haven't tried them at any other restaurants in town. Heidi Rinella (food critic at the Review Journal) has a "readers helping readers" section. Perhaps you can email Heidi, and she can publish your question.
I haven't eaten at this Hofbrauhaus, but I tried to go once. They were full, and the woman at the front reception area was not very nice. Also, the prices were fairly fluffy -- so we declined waiting for a table. I've heard that they have lowered their prices, and I know they have coupons floating around, so my advice is that if you want to go there, make a reservation first, and then look for coupons.
I hope this helps.
