<< A person suspected of a carjacking in the Venetian
parking lot was stopped by Nevada Highway Patrol on
Blue Diamond near S. Las Vegas Blvd.
When the NHP officer got out of the vehicle, the
female suspect jumped into the NHP cruiser, speeding
off.
She then drove southbound on I-15 and crashed in front
of the prison in Jean, Nevada.
