Went to the lunch buffet yesterday for the first time. Cost: $19.95.
I thought it was one the best buffets I've been to, even better than
the Bellagio. There are six separate dining areas, including one in
a glass topped atrium that is beautifully decorated and full of
light. The others are nicely decorated too, with wicker chairs,
granite top tables, and decorated in greens and yellows. We were
seated by a fellow who stayed near by who was very attentive. The
next time I will ask to be in the atrium or closer to the food areas,
because we were seated some distance away next to a traffic lane. He
told us the offerings "change every day", but here is a partial list:
Chilled peeled large shrimp, smoked salmon, calamari, baby rock
shrimp, assorted sushi, and other chilled items. Chilean Sea Bass,
Pacific and Atlantic Salmon, linguini and clams, grilled tombo tuna,
black mussels, Kansas City Baby Back BBQ Ribs, pesto mashed potatoes,
curried chicken, roasted asparagas, beef Rendong, Szechuan clams,
etc. etc. Excellent dessert offerings according to my wife.
I believe the dinner is $25.95, and the Saturday and Sunday brunch is
about $30 or $32, depending on whether champagne is desired. Dinner
includes steak, lobster, and crab ... items not on the lunch menu.
