XVP: Wynn and Comped Drinks

I was told today that the "no drink comps at bars" policy was put into
effect back in June. Can anyone confirm this? I only heard about it about a month
ago, and I was told it's for all bar games, not just at one particular bar.

All I can say is, if you are an overall loser at Wynn, and you hate this new
policy, complain loudly (but politely) to management! We'd all hate for this
to become universal, and hate it even more if the policy is extended to the
floor machines!

Mandalay Bay tried this idiocy a few years ago. So many people complained
that they rescinded it in a few weeks.

The simple answer is to stop playing at Wynn. Steve Wynn has been
putting the squeeze on his dealers, players and now he wants to stop
commonplace comping of drinks? This guy's middle name is Greed and he
won't get a dime of my money. By all means register your
dissatisfaction by writing a letter and returning your player's card.
They expect people to drop $30K+ just for RFB comps. I say there are
lots of other places that want and deserve your business.
