XVP: Would Appreciate Comments on the Luau at Imperial Palace
My husband and I went many, many years ago. It was OK but nothing
spectacular. Maybe it has changed since then, but I doubt it. It really
depends on what you are looking for. The show was entertaining if you
have never been to a Luau (but no way comes close to the real thing).
The food was semi-edible and the drinks watered down (I think they
forgot to put the booze in the ones I had!).
Back then we went because it was pretty cheap and gave us a break from
gambeling. I guess I would say it depends on what it costs now days.
We have been back to Vegas many many times since and don't have any
desire to go again (1 time was enough). Hope this helps!

We went a couple of years ago. It was EXTREMELY hot the night we went; we sweated through the whole thing. I would give it a C+ on enjoyment. The food was OK, the drinks OK, and the show OK, but nothing very special or memorable. I couldn't wait to get back to the tables!! ha ha
