XVP What's the scoop on Hotmail??

I suspect that your ISP sometimes bounces all mail from Hotmail because of a surge of spam. It usually resumes after a few days. This occasionally happens with Yahoo, too. It's most likely to happen if your ISP uses Spamhaus or something like that to filter the mail.

The only thing that Hotmail or Yahoo can do is to try to filter out the spam themselves.

I'm experiencing no difficulty in receiving email originating from
Hotmail addresses.

The problem encountered is that my server is reporting that Hotmail is
bouncing my replies. As I understand it, others are having similar
problems emailing Hotmail addressees and that this has nothing to do
with filtering at my server.
