XVP: Venezia Suite

Hello Group,

I received an e-mail offer from "Club Grazie" which stated that the free room offer was only for the Venezia Suites only (and that it would not apply to the Venetian or Plazzo suites). My question is: What is a Venezia Suite?

Thank you for your replies.

Larry

This is the back tower at Venetian that sets on top of the parking garage. Rooms are nice but it is a longer walk to the casino.

Venezia is a higher grade room and tower than the regular Venetian/Palazzo suites.? As you enter the hotel, you go off to the right and then take an elevator to the Venezia private check in area.? More private and intimate - separate pool area.? Usually there is an upgrade charge of at least $50 to get a Venezia room.? I have only "scored" a free upgrade a few times.

You will like it I believe.? Rooms can be a bit far from elevator and are farther from casino ----- so you may want to ask for a room either near the elevator or near the pool whichever is more important to you.

As far as I know Venezia tower rooms haven't been remodeled since it opened 5 or 6 years ago. The last time I was in one it was looking pretty tired, and the stale smoke odor in the hallways was really noticeable.

Chances are if they are giving them away it's because they're having a hard time getting paying customers into them. I'd probably pass, but then I'm wary of taking any offer from LVS given what they've done to their video poker in the past 18 months.

In addition to the other comments, I will add....

The rooms may not have been remodeled in a few years. But, they
are still extremely nice rooms.

Yes, the walk to the casino from the Venezia tower is longer than
from the Venetian tower. But, the walk to the parking garage is much
shorter because you can enter the parking garage elevators directly
from the Venezia tower.

Personally, I have never noticed a smoke smell in the Venezia
hallways - and I am very sensitive to cigarette smoke. It seems to me
that there is less noise from people talking in the Venezia hallways
than in the Venetian and Palazzo.

Venezia has its own pool, but Venezia guests can use any pool at
Venetian & Palazzo.

I have found that the wait time for checking in is much shorter
at the Venezia registration desk (than in the Venetian).

I like Venezia tower better than Venetian. But, I like Palazzo
WAY better than Venezia or Venetiaon.
