I just used $750 in comps for clothing. My comps were left over from
other LVH owners and reissued by new guys. They were ready to expire
around June or July. Good shot but expensive goods. Of course free is
really not that expensive. I will not be back to Vegas till Sept.
One caution; It might not be a good idea to sell comp tickets etc. I
have heard one person in AC had gotten in trouble for doing just
that. This person also sold comp rooms etc. However, it may be a
different story with comp $$ as they may be like real money.
I do agree on using comps and comp $$. Don't lose them.....use them.
Not too long ago I drained my Caesars account for 4 Celine tickets.
One more thing, if I think it might be "compable" I ask. The worst
that happens is I get turned down.

I found that the gift shop almost opposite the main room elevators
(central
tower) has really nice clothes -- including large sizes like 1X,
2X, 3X.
When my comps got close to $1000 I used comps to buy some clothes.
That was a
change.
You can also use the comps to buy from other stores including the
Star Trek
stores.
Comps can also be used for the new French restaurant, which cannot
be comped.
Another thought if you really have too many to use -- buy Star
Trek tickets,
then sell them to people who are about to buy tickets (you may need
to give
a discount).
Also you can use the comps to bring friends with you to dinner if
you have
