XVP: Underage Gamblers

I happen to agree with the lawmaker that said, "if they are
old enough to join the military they are old enough to gamble."
And, I will add that men and women who are 18 to 21 should
also be allowed to drink alcohol, too.

I would like to know exactly what makes the people at Quest
Casino think their policy the "right thing to do."

Without getting into the debate of who can do what at what age (the older I get, the less privileges I want to give to those who are very young, or very old - lol)..

It occurred to me, can the casino legally pay a jackpot to someone who is gambling illegally, even if the illegality is penalty-free? If that's a potential problem, then the associated negative PR of denying an under-age gambler an "earned" payout would be an incentive to comply with the law.

This has already happened twice in Vegas with large progressives, once at the Lady Luck and once at Caesar's. In the Caesar's case the GCB told them not to pay the jackpot and reset the progressive to where it was and in the Lady Luck case the winner conceded he was not entitled to the jackpot due being underage. Don't know if he was pressured or not.
