XVP: Ultimate Blackjack Tour

UBT runs a website (playUBT.com) where you can freeplay the latest rage,
Elimination Blackjack. It's a lot of fun, and there is a big bonus to it as well.
If you're good as well as insanely lucky, you can actually win a spot at a
CBS-TV final table of an upcoming UBT tournament. The process is quite long,
one false step or bad run of cards and you're outta there. But, it can be
done.

Well, I certainly fit the insanely lucky part of it. In the middle of
January, UBT is flying me to Hollywood in Los Angeles to sit at a TV final table as
the online qualifier of a Barona event. Air, room, ground transportation
paid. Some prize cash guaranteed and a chance at some serious bucks IF I can beat
the best in the business at their own game.

It costs nothing to participate. Does that count as an advantage play? No
downside, and an admitted longshot chance at pretty good pile of Benjamins.

I have debated for a while about whether to post this or not. It's certainly
not VP, and I'm usually not one to toot my own horn so much, either. But now
that I've got the airline reservations confirmed, I'm more comfortable
sharing this with our vpFREE community because many of us love to read the success
stories of our fellow members.

Best regards, and great, good luck,

something like this I am sure the vast majority of VPFree users find
it fascinating. And we want a trip report on how you did and what
it was like too! M

This seems to be a fairly common KBJW variant, and isn't listed in the vpFREE paytables, although it's on 5-card's and Wizard of Odds':

Common, yes. Beatable, no. The vpFREE database seems to be limited to
games in the 99% range and higher.

True. I was pointing out that it's not in the vpFREE paytables, as opposed to the database. Just in case someone else wants to look up the EV. The 4000 RF version is listed, but the 4700 RF version isn't.
