XVP: Ty to Joe Pucek

After reading about many get togethers at the Outback (courtesy of Joe
Pucek), I was finally able to attend one. Last night there were five
of us: Gracious Host Joe, Retired-Pharmacist-Turned-Vegas-Local Ron,
Psychiatric Nurse Cindy (recently moved from Atlanta), Celebrity Scot
Krause, and myself. Good company, conversation, cocktails, and of
course food were enjoyed by all. I encourage you to attend one of
these if you are ever able to... a memorable evening with great people
in Vegas... just doesn't get much better than that. Thanks Joe!

Today I bumped into our beloved and semi-retired administrators at the
South Coast. They had a great day there! It was my first visit and
although I lost, I enjoyed seeing the beautiful property.

I am in Caesar's Diamond Lounge at the moment. The
computers in here seem to work better than the ones in
Harrah's where I am staying at the moment. I think it
has to do with security settings/firewall, dunno. I
tried to reply to your post but when I hit send
nothing happened. If memory serves, I can post reply
from here.
Thanks for your post. Another post I was reading
today stated something about the 1600 vpFREE members!!
Apparently, most of them are lurkers:-)
I am moving to MSS Sunday evening for four days or
so. If you would like to borrow my laptop and use
their Wi-Fi while I play just let me know. We could
also do it at the Hilton if you are ever in there. I
play quite a bit there also. I still hate to eat
alone, and I have tons of comps at the Silverton, for
example. They have an excellent steakhouse if you are
interested. My granddaughter and her friends do not
show up until Labor Day, her 21st birthday.
