XVP: Total Rewards Room Offer - FREE vs COMP

I have a TR room offer valid at multiple properties here in Las Vegas. I've never used a TR room comp before, but I was thinking about doing so for a little "staycation" whilst my wife and baby are out of town and I'm free to play. :slight_smile:

When I go to the TR web site to book my offer, I notice that on the offer calendar, I can choose more than two nights, and it just extends my stay at $0. The first two nights say FREE, and then any additional nights say COMP.

My questions:

1) What's the difference between FREE and COMP?

2) Am I going to get burned if I book more than my two FREE nights and extend it to a 3rd, 4th, or 5th COMP night?

Reading my post, I realise I wasn't clear that my original offer was for two nights. So, to clarify, it lists those two nights as FREE, but allows me to add additional nights as COMP.

If you have an offer those are listed as FREE. If Harrah's is willing to give you additional nights for free without an official offer, those are listed as COMP. It allows you to book comp nights based on play without talking to your host. If you have questions I would just call.
