XVP...This The Season To Be......

Howdy

Here I am on the east coast, three thirty in the am sitting in my living
room sending out an S.O.S. to some damn good video poker players.....and there
is not a card in sight.

You see my ethereal friends I have seasonal allergies.You know the top of
the line high roller Jacuzzi package deal. That includes your basic
sneezing,ringing in the ears, post nasal drip, sore throat and a persistent cough that
needs no coaching to get on a roll.
Oh yeah I have a temperature that goes up and down.so I think a cold or
virus has joined he team.
Break out the violins for this one...I can not lay my head on a bed pillow
because that position starts a tickle in my throat that drives me to cough my
sore guts out..hence no betty bye.

So I have to attempt to sleep in a multi positional chair. I am entering my
second week of this frivolity.

Now that I got some of you this far I have a two parter. What is your home
remedy for relieving a tickley throat that is very sore?

The second is completely off the wall...IF you are in a room and no one is
near you and you cough...do you still cover your mouth?

I usually just lurk but your dilemma prompted me to reply.
My husband swears by Buckley's Cough Mixture. It is absolutely the
worst tasting concoction I have ever tried and maybe that's why it
seems to work. Try it if you dare. But two weeks is quite a long
time to self-treat. Maybe it's time to see a doctor.
Whatever you do, I hope you feel better soon.
