For the rest of us youngsters, the National Parks Pass is also a
bargain at $50, good for one year from the first use. Well worth it if
you plan to hit Grand Canyon, Zion, and Yosemite within a year (each
has a $20 gate fee). Bryce charges $10, IIRC, and Lake Mead charges $5
or $6.

For locals and others that live out West, you can buy a $15 Golden
Eagle sticker for the Parks Pass that also lets you into Red Rocks and
other BLM and National Forest recreation areas that charge an
admission fee. I don't knoww if Golden Eagle works at the pay picnic
grounds on Mt. Charleston or not.
