Here is an email exchange between BJ21.com's LVBear and Wade Faul :
Mr. Bear,
I am so sorry that you don't like the 6:5 single-deck blackjack
game. Judging by the occupancy and volume levels we are experiencing
on those tables compared to traditional blackjack, I would have to
say that we are offering a game that is very appealing to many of our
customers.
We certainly wouldn't keep a game that did not attract players. I
hope you will find other games at the Horseshoe that meet your
criteria for "fun and excitement".
Sincerely,

I'm not sure if your reply is intended as a joke. Do you have some
reason to think that even your most stupid patron PREFERS a game with
a house advantage 800% greater than actual single deck blackjack? I
am curious about the thought process that goes into offering a game
that is basically swindling the ignorant and gullible public. Do you
think they won't play single deck that pays the normal 3 to 2? Is it
just
plain greed?
Thank you for taking the time to respond.

Mr. Faul responded:
It's no joke. At any given time on our casino floor, you will find
the 6:5 game at the same or better occupancy levels than the
traditional blackjack offerings. I will state again that we would not
offer a game that did not attract players. As for the "statistic" you
included, I would suggest that you check your math.
Sincerely,
Wade D. Faul

Yes, I am amazed that the suckers (uh, patrons) play that awful game.
As for my math, the house edge of 1.45% on 6 to 5 is about eight
times (800%) the house edge of 0.18% on 3-2 real single deck
blackjack. Do you disagree with this figure? Current Blackjack News
reports those numbers, too, as have several articles in the local
media critical of casinos that are taking advantage of the public by
offering the 6 to 5 game.
I believe that once the masses eventually figure out just how bad for
the patron the 6 to 5 game really is, it will be an embarrassment for
all the casinos that have chosen to offer it.
Thank you for the continuing exchange of ideas and comments. I
appreciate hearing your views.
Respectfully,
