Thank you very much, Jean, for answering my questions. I now understand that the casino needs W-8BEN for their records and they need me to fill in 1042-S. This was handled well at Aliante Station last week.
As I was in Vegas before I read your reply I actually went to the IRS to get more information :-). This was kind of funny. I couldn´t get my question across to their (very friendly) customer service rep who hardly spoke English. Her message was clear though: a veiled, what do you care, you don´t have to pay! So much for trying to do the right thing LOL
