XVP: Summerlin Rooms

I noticed that 4 Queens, Riv, Strat and a few others had rooms for
$60-70 per night. After you peruse all the various rates, also check
the hotel's web site itself to see if it is any cheaper there. Since this
is a weekend, you're going to pay at LEAST $100/nite for a decent
strip property. . . . . Can you take the 2 comped rooms and then
split the cost between everyone? If no one has a players card and
it's a weekend-- it may be easier to hit a Royal Flush than find some
cheap rooms! Also, I noticed a blurp on Travel Axe about "if you need
5 rooms or more click here" -- you may want to also check that out.
And finally, we just stayed at the 4 Queens. All the rooms have recently
been redone (my hubby said he felt like he was at the Gold Coast) and
are very comfortable and nice. And, we were surprised by this, the parking
is in the back (but not too far of a walk) and the access to Las Vegas Blvd
and the freeway was very fast and easy!

Subject: [vpFREE] XVP: Summerlin Rooms

Hi, I'm setting up some older relatives for a room Dec 15 only, in
Summerlin (for a wedding). I was wondering if anyone knew about any
coupons or promos in that area (i.e., maybe Suncoast, Red Rock, or
Santa Fe Station). I can get comped at Venetian, or HET, but their
casino rates for the extra (4) rooms are too much for the folks I'm
trying to get in (they're in the $100 range), plus we're trying to get
off-strip because the wedding is early in the day. I have a discounted
room promo for the preferred Red Rock, but they will only let me do one
room for that.

I appreciate any info anyone can share. Thanks!

All worked out well, thanks! A lot of places dropped their rates just
yesterday for mid-December, which was nice. Travelworm.com is also
really good for this stuff.
