hardly anyone using the Hooters parking garage this last week, we always got a spot on floor 2 or 3, above valet
and it's 5 stories high and a short run across tropicana, at the light of course to the MGM

The traffic when there is a show in the MGM Grand arena is
horrible. The
crowds inside the arena can also be intense at a crowded show. I
just saw
Barbara Streisand (great!) - and with all the people, after the

wasn't even moving for 15 minutes.
So here is a suggestion: Park at Paris/Ballys or Flamingo Hilton
and ride
the monorail to and from the MGM Grand. (or park at LV Hilton or
whatever
casino is most convenient for you). You'll avoid the hideous
traffic around the
MGM, and on the strip, and the monorail ride itself takes about 5
minutes.
I agree about the traffic. NEVER park in the MGM parking garage.
I've found that parking in the NYNY garage to be the most efficient
location when attending large concerts or fights at MGM. A little
more walking than the monorail but you save that expense and the wait
time for it to arrive.
