XVP: Steak Special at Hard Rock (Mr. Lucky's)

Last night, we tried the "off the menu" steak dinner special at Mr. Lucky's in the Hard Rock. What a great deal! It was $8.95pp++ and included: salad or soup, the steak with 3 grilled shrimp and fabulous mashed potatoes.

It's absolutely worth the visit. The one down-side is that we tried to order a grilled portobello mushroom as a side order, and instead of being served the grilled mushroom, we were served a side dish of thinly sliced mushrooms swimming in butter. They were ok, but they don't hold a candle to the restaurant's portobello mushroom.

ps - their chocolate cake (which we had for dessert) was to-die for!

It might have been $7.77 in the past. We had never tried it before so I can't speak to past pricing or value. Our server did tell us that they just changed the steak preparation the night before -- so it's entirely possible that the pricing was changed as well. Regardless, it was a heck of a deal. We went in with $30 in comps (coupons from our monthly mailers), ate a ton, took home enough leftovers to have dinner tonight, and still didn't come close to using up the comp.

Iv'e never had the Steak and Shrimp special , but as a
member of LVA I was told to ask for the 777 Steak and
Shrimp special. When did it go up.
