George called Sunset today and asked how to give back the cruise. If this

WE won a cruise from Main Street Station and were told that once we had
accepted that we would receive a 1099 even if we did not take the trip. We took the
trip and it was great, spent very little time in our cabin and the ship had
many public areas to sit and enjoy the scenery which was interesting but very
repetitious. They sent us two different 1099's, one for $2500 and a replacement
for $4000. Luckily our tax preparer told us to price the trip locally and we
kept a newspaper add offering the same trip for $1900 and that is the amount
we used on our tax return.
