Interestingly Star Trek slots (penny machines, though they sometimes are
multidenominational) are linked apparently nationwide. After you play, you can
save a I.D. and then log in again with that I.D. As you play you accumulate
medals, which eventually "unlock" other games that you can play on the
machine (such as "Trouble with Tribbles").
We found the I.D. we gave the machine in Vegas was perfectly workable in New
Orleans.
Strangely, today at Caesars Palace Vegas, when I put in my Harrah's slot
card, the machine recognized me and gave me a new I.D. I was unable to enter my
previous I.D. on the machine though.
The game is a lot of fun, with a lot of bonuses (if you pay the extra for
"win warp" - which seems to be advantageous if you want large wins). And if
you are a Star Trek fan, it is even better.
