XVP, stains from the MS bar

VP_nbi,

Try Oxy-clean on the stains before you throw the shirts away. I left a red pen in a shirt pocket and it went through the wash ok but broke in the dryer cycle. The ink baked on for a 45 minute dry cycle. I threw the shirt out. I saw the Oxy clean in our laundry cabinet and I thought I would give it a try. After washing there was no hint of a red pen mark anywhere on the shirt. It's worth a try.

Already tried it. Oxy didn't work. Tried the popular folklore remedy
lemon juice which didn't work either. Might give RIT rust remover a
try if I could only find it in stores. Of course there are industrial
rust removers that work, the trick is finding one that doesn't
mutilate the shirt in the process.
