XVP - Spinners??

Has anyone heard of "spinners." I have an out-of-town friend who wants me to look for one for her. I guess it is some gismo you put on top of your BJ chips and it spins around and looks pretty! She didn't say if it helped you win! Clerk at Hard Rock store has heard of them - but they didn't have any.

About 6 years ago, Pog's were all the rage among kids here in CA.
Slammers were the circular metal disc you'd slam down on the Pog's, and
if you flipped them you got to keep them. I don't know, maybe a new
millenium version of marbles.

Anyway spinners were all the rage as Slammers because you could not
only slam with them, but they had various designs on them when you spun
them. As was mentioned, small bump in the middle of the bottom upon
which it would balance when spun.

I've never seen one in a Casino though. I don't know if Pog's are
still played, if so maybe at a game or hobby store.
