Wow, if you're in Philly then you get to listen to Rollye James on AM radio.
She substituted for a while when Art Bell retired. She seemed to know every
truck stop in the country. She said it was from driving all over looking for
radio work. If you happen to call her show then say "Hi I mean *hi* from your
fan in Las Vegas"

You're on the road to Vegas. You pass Primm quickly. Your speed, 95mph. It's
OK, the NHP guys are all gassing up their cars a 6:00 am. They're playing a
Carly Simon song on FM 98&99, but the signal is fading. You think of Stopping
at Jean for coffee but your speed, 110mph, is too fast to make the off ramp.
This time you really are going to stop at Wheelers RV too look at trailers,
but at 125mph your brakes would burn up. The Tropicana bridge is a blur as you
go under it at 135mph. At 150mph can you make the transition from 15 to 95
to get off at Casino Center Drive? You're as good as Juan Fangio so what the
hey. You suddenly realize two things. People really so drive exponentially
faster the closer they get to Vegas and... there really is a truckload of
marinara sauce overturned on the Spaghetti Bowl..... Then blackness.... you think,
"If this is heaven then the pasta sure smells good."
