XVP - searching the archive

it seems that, in the new format, you can only search for prior messages by entering the message #. Anyone have any idea on what happened to the “Advance Search” feature, whereby you could search based on author; subject; text within the post; etc.? I’ve had no luck finding info in the Help section.

Thanks for any assistance.

The new format continues to be a PIA, IMO. In answer to your question, think you first have to search for a particular word. The results page includes an advanced search icon:

I don’t get individual messages or the digest - I simply go to the group main page and read through the messages. The only search option that’s presented is a “window” with a magnifying glass symbol next to it & you can only type in message numbers.

If you are on one of the Neo Yahoo Group pages, you can search the message archives of that group by using the box at the top of the page between the Yahoo Groups logo and the “Search Groups” button. Type in any word then click on “Search Groups”.

Thank you! Now I’ve got the hang of it.
