I booked w/ Priceline @ $12/day. Got National. mid-size.
I am a Emerald Aisle member, but had to go into the desk to check in. The
agent instructed me to pick my car from the Emerald Aisle as they are the
better selections. Very satisfied. But no frequent mile credit.
I am going next week and have the same deal.

I bid $16 per day for a 7 day full size car. The bid was rejected.
Previously when using Priceline, you bid inclusive of taxes. Now they
add the estimated taxes to your initial bid, creating an opportunity
for the net cost to be higher than you might expect.
Next week may also be a slower week in Vegas than Thanksgiving week,
resulting in a lower acceptable bid.
I am currently booked with Thrifty for $110 plus tax, totalling $166.23.
We could probably get away with a mid-size car; maybe I'll try a $12
bid and see what happens.

Can book now on Dollar, full size, Thanksgiving week, $116 + tax with
no discounts. Over 50, I think, will net another 5%. I have always
had best luck booking with rental company. There are other discounts
around. Have to find them.
