XVP Rental car assistance

Priceline (which has always worked before) just shut me down for my
11/19 attempted reservation. I've got a decent price in my hip pocket
from Thrifty -- but figured the old Dollar deal was worth a shot. Does
anyone still recall the old Dollar code or have a better idea as to how
to obtain a great deal on a car for the week?

I would prefer a mid-size or full size car.

If you are booking on-line, the default will usually bring you their best rate.
I am getting $13.30 per day for an economy car in Dec. Intermediates are $14.97, full size $18.05 .
