We will be in Reno Aug 1-3. We recently found out that an event
called Hot August Nights will be going on at that time.
Does anyone know how big this thing is? Does it get so crowded in
town that you have to fight to find a playable machine?
Any help will be appreciated.

Hot August Nights consists of thousands of "Grey hairs" that are lovers of classic cars and the early rock & roll era. There are car shows, parades, music and nostalgia events. It is probably the most profitable week of the year for the casinos and therefore crowded with people that have lots of money. On the other hand, you can always find advantage machines to play without a hassle especially during the day and the later hours. Obviously the weekend has more people playing.
