We went to the Trent Carlini show at the LV Hilton tonight. He is not
merely a Elvis impersonator -- it is closer to say he is channeling Elvis. He is
backed by an excellent band and 3 pretty backup singers, and he and
bandmembers change costumes frequently as he musically takes you through Elvis's
career. He is the best Elvis I've seen, and really sounds like Elvis and sings
beautifully. His moves are great too. Only his wigs needed a bit of
improvement - they change too as Elvis's hair changes.
The show is high energy all the way. The audience loved it, and
spontaneously rises to their feet on several occasions - which can be annoying if you
are handicapped or just don't want to stand til the end.
Sound quality of the show was excellent too. I really enjoyed it. Best
seats are a bit less than $50.
