xvp - recap - shuttle service for Vegas

Thanks for all the useful previous shuttle reply's and suggestions. This was my experience for last weeks trip to the Golden Nugget. Got off the plane from NY about 10:30 PM. I believe the 2nd fastest way downtown would be the CAT 108/109 bus. However, This was not an option as I had $3500 in cash on me, and was not willing to chance walking from the DTC to Nugget ( about 3 solid blocks - some deserted ) .
I went to the shuttle wait area for Grayline. People had been waiting 10 minutes already. I asked the ticket agent when the next shuttle for downtown would depart and she said "at least 30 minutes". I decided to bite the bullet , and pay the extra $20 for a taxi , and made it to the hotel in 15 minutes.
After 4 days downtown, and $3000 lighter in my pocket playing nothing but full pay games, I made a reservation with Gray line shuttle for the return to McCarran. They leave from the Nugget every hour on the :35 minutes after, and arrived at the airport 35 minutes later ( it made 4 downtown stops, and Nugget was the 1st pickup -The cost was a well worth $7) . While waiting for the shuttle , I queried some arriving shuttle passengers. They all told me the total time From McCarran exit to downtown was 80 minutes.
Since I only had carry-on luggage, I went to one of the 30 or so Kiosks, entered my jet blue reservation number ,and printed out my boarding pass in 1 minute.... Highly recommended ! Watching the World series on TV during the flight back was really cool and made the journey very easy.

regards...Tom
