XVP Re: Tipping

The cocktail waitress gets a lot of $1 tips, the slot attendant does not get anywhere near the same amount of money in tips.

It often seems interesting to me that the cocktail waitress is content with a $1 tip while the change person is not content with a $5 tip.

OTOH, slot attendants can wear low heeled shoes, dress
in slacks and a shirt, and deal with (usually) happy
gamblers, who have just hit a jackpot; Cocktail waitress
at most casinos are required to wear very high heels, low
cut tops and mini skirts, while serving obnoxious drunks,
surly losers and the ever popular letches, who are peering
down her blouse. I really think that she deserves the very
nominal $1.00 tip that most gamblers bestow.

Any information on how base salaries compare?
