xvp -- re sushi in Vegas

I love Little Buddah's sushi. It always seems to be the freshest anywhere.
It is a tad on the expensive side, but it is sooo good. By the way, we like
their salad with chicken - makes a great starter if shared with 2 people or
even an entree for one, and isn't too expensive if you do that.

Little Buddah money-saving tip - ask to get their VIP card - we got it
years ago - for 10% savings. I assume they still have them though they don't
advertise them anymore (ask).

There was a good "all you can eat" sushi place at the corner of Spring
Mountain and Rainbow - I don't know the name, but I think it is still there.

Makino's is an interesting all-you-can-eat place, with sushi and other stuff
like teriyaki and tempura. The sushi is made in advance and just isn't as
good as it might be, but they have sashimi too for dinner, and with all the
selection at around $30 a person, it can be a nice place to go. Noisy and
always busy though. (Decatur just off Flamingo to the North).

I prefer the pink ginjer to the more goldenish/orangeish, which Little B
has. I didn't care much for Ah Sin's sushi or ginjer (Paris). Hyakumi in
Caesar's doesn't have the pink ginjer but has pretty good sushi. Their teppanyaki
is not as good as Benihana's and is a lot more expensive. But if you have
the comps, it isn't bad either. Benihana has a sushi bar by the way - I
enjoyed it when I was there last, some time ago.

Hi Just letting you know I cancelled my New Orleans trip. As much as we getting the cruise we just have so much to do at home. Sorry we will miss you. We cancelled our Tahoe trip because Steve came down with a case of Gaut so we missed out on that fun as well :frowning:

Enjoy New Orleans and the cruise

OOPs - this message was meant to go to Miss Craps privately. Sorry about that.
