This is another example of the widely varying experiences people are
reporting at the Pepp, depending which employees they happen to be dealing with. I
was at the Pepp Steakhouse last Saturday December 2 as a guest of a local
couple. There were 4 of us and the bill came to over a $100. When the check
came, my friend presented the waiter with not one, but two, $50 free dining
coupons (saved from 2 mailings), and then asked the waiter to charge the balance
to his comp account. The waiter did not bat an eye, said OK, took the
coupons, and came back a short while later with a comp voucher made out for the
balance of the check for my friend to sign. No muss, no fuss.

This is certainly how it SHOULD be, so Becky, sorry to hear about your
experience. If we had gotten the same waiter you did, same thing would have
probably happened to us. If you have a host at Pepp, maybe you could tell them
about your experience, if you haven't already. Seems the Pepp needs to make
sure all employees are trained consistently on their policies. All in all I
still love the Pepp, but these kinds of experiences can be frustrating, and a
more open comp policy would also help lessen this type of thing.

PS Expanded casino section / sports bar opens any day now - I saw VP bartop
machines being installed - so there will be some new machine scouting to do
soon....
