I also come from Wisc. I have found that giving Harrah's minimal
play gets me free room offers. I play very little there and yet they
continue to send me 4 free nights a month. I play the 25c for about
2 hours a day there on average, and then head to MS/Trump. This has
worked out fairly well as the rooms at Harrah's are truly wonderful
and the good plays (MS/Trump) are very close. Last trip there (2
weeks ago), I even got lucky and hit the 25c prog at Harrah's on BP
within my first 20 minutes of play for $3,000. Good luck to you.

It was just shy of 3K again a couple of days ago. I gave it about 5 hours of fast play before I reached the point of brain fry at 2 AM and packed it in. There was no joy in Mudville:-)

Do the rooms have good noise insulation, can you hear the trains
thundering by? Once upon a time I was actually a good customer of
Harrahs in Joliet/Vegas/Reno, but they consistently hosed me on comps
so I took my action elsewhere. Joliet Harrah's bombarded me with free
room offers for about 6 months, but the fine print indicated these
offers were good for Joliet only. Pity I can't accrue comps by playing
table poker.
