FWIW, I have (actually, had before recent surgery) a bad back. Here in Michigan I had (and still have) trouble walking. Years ago my cutter initially said I need to move out West. Said two weeks in that dry climate and I'll be a new man. And it's true. Two days in Vegas and I can walk all over the place. That low humidity is great for arthritis/stenosis sufferers. So that Chicago guy's "miracle" recovery is not so far-fetched. FP VP helps, too...
