XVP - Rampart Speed Bumps - Karen

I think speed bumps like that are a racket promoted by paving companies.
Vehicles suffer damage because of them and the folks who ordered the speed bumps
have to have a redo to lower them.

Boulder Station also has an entrance that has 5 or 6 speed bumps within 15 feet. Unbelievable overkill.

I don't think they are a racket or overkill. When I visit Boulder Station from downtown and get off th ebus and cross Boulder Highway, those going in an dout of the casino always seem to be oblivious to the rights of pedestrians. Anything that slows them down is good.

Well, IMHO they can use some more speed bumps. Crazy and boozed up Vegans often make the right turn from Boulder Highway into BS at speeds over 40 MPH. They rarely give Pedestrians a break who are trying to cross over to the Motel/Hotel parking lot on the south side ! Many times I've gotten horn blasted with a 'get out of my way or I'll run you over' toot.
