One of the reasons is they have a full menu till 6am. They don't close at 11pm like one at the Harrah's property. The prices are expensive but when using your points they aren't much higher than paying cash at Bellagio. It's hard to get full redemption for you Total Reward points using them at Planet Hollywood is no worse than taking the .50 cents on the dollar offered at properties around the country. The food is excellent and you can a dinner like Salmon with sauteed spinach at 3am.
They also offer Asian specialties, Pasta, sandwiches, you name it. No crippled menu at midnight. They also have terrific deserts like Carrot Cake for $10.99. It's enough for three people so share it with some friends. Between their Buffet, The Earl Of Sandwich which is open all night and their coffee shop I give Planet Hollywood an A+. As far as VP machines there is nothing to play there but to eat there is like hitting a Royal Flush.
