Doesn't quite work that way! We took our daughter as a child to Vegas, and
we now take two grandchildren to Vegas now. We generally stay at one of the
upscale casino/hotels with them as you can easily get around with children.
Last week for example we were at Mandalay. But at Thanksgiving Wynn worked, as
does Bellagio. Another one that really is great for children (off the strip) is
Tuscany as the restaurants are far from the casino. NO one has ever stopped
us from walking to the restaurants through the casino with children--but of
course we prefer avoiding the casino entirely with the kids. We go down at
night or individual enjoy the tables and machines.

King Fish, I am curious why you took your daughter and now your
grandchildren to Vegas? Wouldn't Disneyland, Magic Mountain or
Kings Dominion be better suited for them?

I have no children or grandchildren. I believe it's China15334 to whom
you're referring.

However, I will say that if I DID have children, I would raise them such
that they wanted to go to Las Vegas rather than those other places. My kids
would turn 21 prepared to recognize and exploit opportunities. But that's
another thread...

Sorry - I thought the message was from you. I did have children and
I do have 4 grandchildren and I never once took my kids to vegas and
would not willing take my grandchildren there. But that is just my
own ideas. if I lived there and the grandchildren visited that
would be a different situation. Again, I was just curious.
